Invisalign Clear Aligners in Lake Forest, CA

Straighter teeth without brackets or wires

As an authorized Invisalign provider, we straighten teeth with a series of clear, removable aligners made for your smile. Each set moves your teeth a small, planned amount. You see the expected result on screen before treatment begins.

What Invisalign can treat

Clear aligners treat many of the same problems as traditional braces:

  • Crowded teeth that overlap or twist
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Overbite, underbite, and crossbite in many mild to moderate cases
  • Teeth that shifted after earlier braces

Straight teeth are also easier to clean, which helps protect against decay and gum disease.

Why patients choose clear aligners over braces

  • Nearly invisible: most people won't notice you're wearing them
  • Removable: eat what you like and brush and floss normally
  • Comfortable: smooth plastic, with no brackets or wires to irritate your cheeks
  • Fewer emergencies: nothing to break or come loose
  • Predictable: you see the planned tooth movement before you start

Is Invisalign right for you?

Invisalign works well for most adults and many teens, especially if you:

  • Have mild to moderate crowding, spacing, or bite problems
  • Have healthy teeth and gums, or are willing to treat any problems first
  • Can wear your aligners about 20–22 hours a day

Invisalign often works together with other cosmetic treatment. Straightening first can mean fewer veneers or less enamel removal later, and many patients finish with professional whitening.

Cost depends on how complex your case is and how long treatment takes. Many plans with orthodontic benefits cover Invisalign the same way they cover braces. We check your benefits, explain any remaining cost at your consultation, and offer monthly financing through CareCredit.

We see Invisalign patients from Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Irvine, Laguna Hills, Ladera Ranch, and Foothill Ranch.

Invisalign: Common Questions

It depends on how much your teeth need to move. Mild spacing or crowding can take a few months; more involved cases often take 12–18 months. You will get an estimated timeline once your digital treatment plan is ready.
Aligners work best when worn about 20–22 hours a day. Take them out only to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush and floss. Wearing them less than that is the most common reason treatment takes longer than planned.
Most patients feel pressure or mild soreness for a day or two when they switch to a new set of aligners. That is a sign the teeth are moving. It is usually much milder than the discomfort from adjusted metal braces.
Invisalign can treat many bite problems as well as crowding and gaps, including some overbites, underbites, and crossbites. Some severe bite or jaw problems are better treated with braces or by an orthodontist. We will tell you honestly whether aligners suit your case.
Yes. Teeth naturally tend to drift back toward their old positions, so a retainer is needed to hold your result. Most patients wear it full-time at first and then only at night.
Many dental plans with orthodontic benefits cover Invisalign the same way they cover braces, up to the plan's lifetime orthodontic maximum. We check your coverage and explain any remaining cost and financing options before you start.
